Training & Placement Officer
A Training & Placement cell has been established in the RIT campus. Leading Industrialists, learned Professors from other colleges, Administrators are invited to the campus to share their knowledge and experience with the students. Action is being initiated to arrange campus recruitment, so that every student gets an oppurtunity to compete in the college itself for a bright future.
The Training & Placement cell is quite active in the college and is helping the students in sending them to various firms/companies/organizations in 3rd and 4th year of industrial training/project work. These establishments include prestigious organizations like RCL, NFCL, NTPC, APGENCO, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, BSES-Andhra Power, ONGC and BHEL etc.,
M/s. Regency Ceramic Ltd. has conducted campus interviews for the first batch of outgoing RITians and selected 40 graduate trainees for their various group of companies. This year (2005-'06) also they selected about 30 final year students from EEE, EIE and ME.
Many of RIT Alumni are placed in reputed companies, viz. Infosys Technologies Ltd, Bangalore and Chennai; Wipro Technologies, Bangalore; Satyam Computers, Hyderabad and Bangalore; IBM, Bangalore and Delhi; Cognizant Technology Services, Chennai; General Electric, Hyderabad; L & T Infotechc, Mumbai; Libson Software, Bangalore; Value Club, Chennai;Accenture, Hyderabad; Iflex Solutions, Bangalore; Emprex, Pondicherry; Sand instrumentation, Chennai; MrF, Medak; LG,Bangalore; Vision 2K, Hyderabad; T2 Technologies, Hyderabad; Gayan Technologies, Vizag etc., Few students are working in Canada, France and Gulf countries as well.
Many RITians have gone to abroad (USA & other countries) for higher studies.
