Dr. G.PSVSD NagendraRao has taken the charge as Head of the Management Studies Department in the year 2010. He completed his MIRPM (HRM) & M.Com from Nagpur University, M.Sc(Psy) from University of Madras(IDE), B.L, and PhD (on HRM Topic from Commerce & Management Department) from Andhra University. He is having 23 yrs of Teaching Experience.
The department of Management Studies has been functioning since A.Y2007-2008 with MBA Programme with an intake of 60 seats. Presently the intake of the MBA programme is 38.The department has 6 well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty, having P.G qualifications and a majority are pursuing their M. Phil Degrees, headed by a doctorate. . The department has good infrastructure, it consists of 3 well-furnished classrooms with executive writing boards, podiums, fans fluorescent lamps with good ambiance and a Faculty room, HOD's room and A/c Seminar Hall accessibility.
The Department has its own association called MBA students’ SMART society and conduct many managerial talks, personality development programmes, seminars, quiz, Gam, Group Discussions, debates etc. Every semester at least two guest lectures are being arranged in addition to above activities. We enable our students to participate in national and state level managerial meets to improve the spirit of competition and knowledge sharing.
