It is my pleasure to welcome you to Regency Institute of Technology Website and I thank you for your interest in exploring information about our Institute. Regency Institute of Technology came into existence in the year 2000 and is located at Adivipolam - 10 kms. from Yanam (U.T. of Pondicherry) township and is an ideal location for an educational institute with its tranquil environment, free from noise and air pollution. It is almost on the banks of River Godavari. The confluence of the river with the Bay of Bengal provides an excellent panoramic view of creeks and islands. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated to Pondicherry University, which is a Central University.
The Institute is presently offering courses in six branches of Engineering. Our academic staff is about 89 strong with about 50 supproting staff. We endeavour to equip our students with knowledge, skills and abilities. Our alumni occupy important positions in many MNCs of India like Satyam, Infosys, CTS, IBM etc., and many of the rest are persuing academic programs in abroad. Our Institute has built up a strong Industry - Institute interaction.
